Dear Readers,
I have only three things to announce this time, but they are fabulous things.
Taking place amid the beautiful countryside just outside of Bristol, I’ll be at Thornbury Book Fair on Saturday 1st August, 2026. You can grab yourself tickets (starting from free) from the QR code in the image above, or on Eventbrite. Look for the Dianna Hardy table and banner; I’ll have a limited amount of my series starters and standalones on sale, and an even smaller selection of my series books. (I have over twenty books in print and, sadly, I can’t take them all.) To guarantee you get a signed copy of the book you want, you can pre-purchase your copy.
If you don’t already, follow SugarPages Author Events to keep abreast of all their events — they run a few across the south and south west of England.

I have another book event to announce for end of 2026, but need to wait for details from the organiser. I also have a huge event to announce for 2028, but this won’t be announced until towards the end of this year. There will hopefully be some 2027 announcements soon, too!
Blind Date With A Book
Do you love beautifully gift-wrapped book surprises? Please check out Hearthlight Book Nook on Instagram (let them know I sent you!). This bookish business is run by Amber in Cornwall and the effort she goes into bundling books from both well known and up-and-coming authors, so you get something truly special, is really worth your time to browse! These make great treats for you, and even better gifts for your bookworm friends.
At some point in the next few months, you may even see a surprise bundle that contains a few of my books. I can’t tell you which bundle that will be, though! So follow her for everything she posts and let your friends know.
Reduced on Amazon UK
The Illustrated Cover Edition of Broken Lights (paperback) is reduced on Amazon UK. This is not my doing and I don’t know when they’ll put the price back up, but since book prices are going up all the time at the moment, I would grab it if you haven’t read it yet! This is a gritty contemporary suspenseful romance set in the Whitechapel area of London, England — told in my usual raw style (some explicit scenes). It deals with darker themes of domestic abuse, drugs, redundancy, divorce … happy reading! 😁 (Seriously, it’s a fab, fast-paced, hopeful story!)
This cover was hand-sketched using India ink and watercolour. I’m slowly (as an aside to writing) building my art portfolio. Book cover prints are available at my Signed Books and Merch store.
